Since 1997 AID has developed and manufactured the AID EliSpot Reader System; the first machine was sold in 1998. Since then, AID has sold over 300 complete Reader Systems in over 20 countries. The AID EliSpot Reader System reads all types of plates, transparent or opaque, clear bottom, nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes.

  • Digital Camera , FireWire, Color, CCD Chip , High resolution 2048x2048 (4 Megapixel!)
    (Digital cameras work without grabber cards; they are much faster and the images have better signal-to-noise characteristics. A digital camera will perform better than a video camera of nominally higher resolution. FireWire is a transfer system not unlike USB but much faster.)
